After completing his predental requirements at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, Dr. Braun earned his dental degree from Marquette University, in Milwaukee, where he distinguished himself by graduating cum laude. He completed his advanced residency training at V.A. Hospitals in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Long Beach, California.

Dr. Braun started his private practice in Orange, California in 1977, and opened a second office in Tustin. In 1981 he was Board Certified by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Braun’s professional affiliations include The American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Orange County, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Orange, CA and La Veta Surgical Center in Orange, CA. Dr. Braun is also certified by the state of California to administer anesthesia in our office outpatient facilities.

Dr. Braun makes his home in Huntington Beach. He and his wife Pat have two children, Trisha and Matthew.
